General Warehouse

Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within ALT Warehouse. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepares items for shipment and stocking within the Distribution department.

Responsibilities:

Performs all duties and responsibilities according to the Core Values of the Company. Performs all inside receiving for the Distribution Department. Ability to read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers. Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department. Marks materials with identifying information. Opens bales, crates, and other containers. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to Company standards. Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers. Uses computer to enter records. Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications. Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.

Requirements:

Pass background screen, and drug screen. Minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse environment. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. frequent heavy lifting. Experience driving a forklift preferred. Basic computer skills. High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Responsible for electrical and mechanical servicing and efficient maintenance of production machinery and equipment in the physical plant. Develops, schedules, and controls a preventive maintenance program to maintain production machinery and equipment in proper working condition. Adheres to a demanding and strict work schedule to maintain all company manufacturing equipment in a safe and operable condition to achieve the best working conditions possible for all employees. Ensures all areas of the manufacturing facilities are up and running properly. This includes lights, doors, transitions on floors, anchoring of machinery, airlines, etc. Maintains inventories of maintenance material, supplies, and repair parts at required levels by initiating requisitions for purchase; periodically reviews inventory for proper upkeep at plant facilities. Recommends, plans, and implements equipment needs to improve production efficiency and/or achieve cost reduction.

Requirements:

Pass a criminal background check and drug screen. Ability to lift 50 pounds infrequently. Two or more years of experience as an industrial mechanic. Strong verbal communication skills. Comfortable with computers. High School diploma or GED. Ability to drive forklift a plus. Knowledge of Hydraulics and electrical is required and frequently used.

Maintenance Helper

Responsibilities:

Performs all duties and responsibilities according to the Core Values of the Company. Ability to work in a team environment and follow direction from the Maintenance Supervisor. Maintains a clean and organized exterior and interior of all company buildings and property by performing essential duties and responsibilities. Mows and trims facility grounds by using a push mower, weed eater, zero turn radius mower, or tractor with brush hog. Recommends measures to improve operations for upkeep of grounds. Cleans facility grounds daily, using a gas-powered leaf blower, push broom, and shovel. Waters gravel yard and sprays it with weed control. Washes and maintains the exterior and cleans interior of company vehicles on a weekly basis. Performs general maintenance on machinery and equipment. Paints designated areas for parking, fences, offices, buildings, bollards, guard rails and safety stripes. Performs other duties as deemed necessary by the Maintenance Supervisor. Assists the manufacturing department as needed to complete tasks / production orders.

Requirements:

Pass a criminal background check & drug screen. 1-2 years maintenance, plumbing, torch, and basic electrical experience. 1-2 years experience working in the maintenance and manufacturing industry. Ability to operate a tractor with box blade, push mower, and weed eater. High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
